Our story

One club. One community. A shared path.

Itai Goren founded the club in 2009 in memory of his father, Rephael Goren. About two years later, his childhood friend and longtime judo training partner Lotan Alkobi joined him. They grew up together on the mat, lived at the Wingate Institute’s sports academy, trained with Israel’s national team and travelled to competitions together. Together they built a home for children, teenagers and competitive athletes.

Olympic bronze medalist and four-time European champion Arik Zeevi joined the coaching team, bringing international experience to a club grounded in personal attention and long-term development.
